Live-In Care& 24 Hour Care

AFFORDABLE IN HOME CARE provides both 24 Hour Care services and Live-In Care services for our clients. In most situations, Live-In Care or 24 Hour Care is needed during critical care times. This can happen when your loved one is stricken with a degenerative condition such as a stroke or Alzheimer’s disease or has been recently discharged from a hospital. During this time, it may become impossible for you to take care of yourself and a loved one without the assistance of another person.

What is Live-In Care?

Live-In Care is when a caregiver stays in your home for 24 hours and sleeps at night. Depending on the level of care needed, the caregiver usually works anywhere from 8-10 hours per day and is available to assist during the night if needed. At AFFORDABLE IN HOME CARE, our Live-In service includes two caregivers; one for the weekday and one for the weekend. We do have a daily rate for live-in service.

What is 24 Hour Care?

24 Hour Care is when two caregivers are assigned to a client and each caregiver works a 12 hour shift per day for seven days or less if needed. At AFFORDABLE IN HOME CARE, our 24 Hour Care service requires that our caregivers (Personal Care Assistants) remain awake, alert and ready to assist at anytime during their work shift.
